Solar PV Design Engineer – Karachi
Key responsibilities - Design of medium and Industrial scale PV projects.
  •  Preliminary PV site plan drawings under the supervision of the senior design staff.
  • Executive design to include: Layout, SLD, Energy study, Bill of materials, construction details; Post construction AS BUILT documents.
  • Analyse current PV portfolios performance to update performance modelling assumptions; Energy Study (PV SYST etc.)
  • Interacting with suppliers for clarification of technical queries with regards to mounting structure, inverters/TF/MV selection.
  • Technical Due Diligence Folder preparation with technical documents.
  • Support during construction phase by interacting with Project Manager, Project Engineers, sub-contractors and on-site visits.
Qualification, Knowledge and Skills
  • Master’s or Bachelor degree in the field of Electrical engineering.
  • Excellent AutoCAD skills. Ability to setup and manage drawings, X-reference, blocks, etc; Experience in Solar PV Design.
  • Experience in undertaking Energy Yield Assessments; Familiarity with the O&S and Land registry maps and websites;
  • Knowledge of PV industry modelling and simulating assumptions. Including bifacial panels and single axis trackers;
  • Experience in LV and MV electrical schematics
  • Excellent use of spoken and written English
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Team spirit
Experience:
3 – 5 Years.
